P-LO – Crystal (feat. SOB X RBE)
By P-LO (aka Paulo Rodriguez) is a rapper and producer from Pinole, CA. Paulo was inspired to start making beats after listening to Kanye West’s The College Dropout, and would later team up with Iamsu! to create the Heartbreak Gang hip hop label. Coming up during the peak of the Bay Area’s hyphy movement, much of P-LO’s early music consisted of hard-hitting, bass-heavy slappers, though increasing musical versatility can be heard throughout his catalog.
This has been a busy summer for P-LO, as he just released his second studio album, and is currently on the road with G-eazy and Lil Uzi Vert for the Endless Summer tour. His new project, Prime, is a high energy collection of 11 songs that scream Bay Area hip hop. P-LO recruits fellow North Bay rappers SOB X RBE for the song Crystal. Listen to the track below.
