Sudan Archive’s unique set of musical influences make her one of today’s most creative and versatile new artists. As a child, Sudan taught herself how to play the violin, inspired by the fiddling style of Northern Africa. Sudan uses electronic music production to blend her violin with her vocals and create sonically diverse compositions.
Earlier this year, Sudan released her second EP, Sink. In the song Nont For Sale, she sings and raps over a beat comprised of a pizzicato violin accompanied by traditional hip hop production. Watch the video below.
