Brady Watt, who came up playing bass for various bands in the New England punk rock scene, has become a highly sought after producer and bassist among hip hop artists. Last year, DJ Premier added Brady to his label, TTT, and took him on tour as a member of The Badder Band. This move has put much more attention on Watt and lead to collaborations with Joey Bada$$, 2Chainz, and Talib Kweli.
A couple weeks ago, Brady Watt teamed up with Fat Tony and Drü Oliver for the funky R&B track, Been Down. Watt lays down multiple tracks of bass, over which the two vocalists compliment each others soulful voices under a tasteful layer of autotune. Listen to the song below.
