Chris Gazaleh – Mural Unveiling June 16th in San Francisco
Chris Gazaleh is a young Palestinian American artist hailing from San Francisco, California. Aspiring to express his creative side, he picked up a spray can and a brush at an early age and took to the streets. He is an active member in the Arab community connecting with the youth and looking to paint murals of his heritage and show the way of life back in Palestine.
Chris is currently working on a huge project over on 25 Elgin Park in the heart of San Francisco, visible to one of the busiest intersections in all the city. Thousands will have a clear view of the building on their daily commute. “This mural is dedicated to the people, the history, and to expose the evil occupation of Palestine. Also the right to education, freedom and advancement for all people, cultures to live with dignity, and to fortify our future against colonialism.” – Chris said on his Instagram page. Come out and celebrate the official unveiling this Saturday, June 16th around 1:30 PM at 25 Elgin Park. We caught a few photos catching up with Chris as he was working on the mural and rocking some Zatoon gear! Hope to see you there…
